The Malevolent Institute of Torment’s academic year consists of three trimesters: fall, then winter, then spring. Trimesters are considered “consecutive” if one is immediately after the other (this includes a spring trimester and the following fall trimester).

All courses meet for a one-hour period on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Students may take at most three courses in any trimester and may not take two different courses scheduled at the same time.

All courses are offered every year and in every trimester, apart from restrictions listed in the course description. (For example, if a course description says the course is never offered in the Spring, that course is offered every Fall and every Winter.) Course schedules for each trimester are listed below the course descriptions.

In the catalog below, DisCode is short for Disclaimer Code. TypNum is short for Typical Enrollment Renewal Number After Registration Year. (These were the best abbreviations that the registrar could come up with.)

Students who wish to receive a degree in Modern Enigmatology need to earn credit in all 35 Modern Enigmatology courses within a period of four years. Good luck with that.
