This puzzle involves two “fountains,” each with a list of nine clues, nine rebuses, and a grid with 9 numbered columns and 12 rows, with a noun in each row.

The fastest way to the a-ha of the puzzle is through the rebuses. They are relatively straightforward, but some of them solve to strange non-words like “CLC.” Googling some of these strange results will reveal that each rebus is the name of a Korean pop musician.

The text clues solve to seemingly-ambiguous words and phrases. Combined with the knowledge that the rebuses are the names of K-pop artists, you can discover that each clue solves to the title of a song by one of the artists in the rebuses.

Once you have connected the song titles with their respective artists, you can seek out the music videos for each song and look for the objects listed in the grid. The numbered clues (song titles) correspond to the numbered columns in the grid, allowing you to mark the cells in each column for the items that appear in those music videos. For example, if the first row says “TV Screen” and the first music video has a TV screen in it, you would fill in the first cell of the grid.

When the correct cells are filled in, each grid draws a Korean character. When combined, these two characters form the Korean word bismul (빗물) which translates to the answer, RAIN WATER.
