- Enrique: “Tomorrow's above-the-fold headline is going to be my surprise victory.”
- Rachel: “They say the game is 90% mental, and I'm sharp as a blade. I feel good about my chances.”
- Edith: “Look, I'm the best, and I've got the will to do what it takes. I'm going to win. It's clear. Crystal.”
- Alyssa: “My strategy is endurance—just snip away at the competitors until they're gone.”
- Mike: “Hey, my place is among the stars. I'm sure I'll win.”
- Owen: “I'm going to destroy the rest of them. I'm Godzilla looking down on Tokyo right now.”
- Jacob: “I'm stone cold, not like those wimps out there. I've got what it takes.”
- Pranav: “I'm really inspired by my father. He was a mighty oak. I get my strength from him.”
- Deirdre: “All those other fools? They try to run with me, they going to have a bad time.”
- Casey: “I've got what it takes to win. Maybe they say I'm a little venomous at times, but if that's what it takes, I've got it.”
- Elliott: “I'm going to vaporize the competition. Do you hear me? Vaporize them!”
- Peter: “You can just call me Peter the Pulper, because I'm going to beat the rest of them into a pulp.”
- Beatrice: “I have literally worked my tail off. I deserve victory.”
- Mei: “I have a mind like a diamond: cold, hard, and brilliant. Of course I'll be able to beat all the others.”
- Victor: “Oh come on! There's no contest. If you think about it, I've already
won. And just look at who I beat!”
