We know how tough it is to be an intrepid explorer, researching complex technology and navigating uncharted waters. Come take a break and refresh your mind. Events are a chance to complete fun and interesting challenges with people from other teams; additionally, taking a step back from all your hard work might give you a new insight on something that was puzzling you! (i.e. completing event challenges will earn you points to spend on questions for the Oracle)
Prove your skill at building contraptions in the workshop. Bring two people with good spatial intuition and a knack for writing and following precise directions.
It's time for submarine operator training! Bring a handful of people who like technobabble, random shouting, and teamwork. (You and your teammates will take turns playing while the others observe. Up to five people is reasonable.)
Time: Saturday at 1:17pm
Location: Z-Center, second-floor entrance to pool gallery
Rescue sunken treasure and bring it back to your team! Bring two people: one strong swimmer (with swimsuit, towel, and non-optional goggles), and one dextrous dry-land teammate. Non-students will need to sign a waiver at the Z-center desk on the second floor entrance to the pool gallery.
The sea monster Charybdis is hungry! Bring up to two people who enjoy communicating silently so you can stealthily work together to figure out what you need to feed her.
Study Breaks
Additionally, we will have to study breaks, to take a break and eat food. These will be on the third floor of the student center.
