The Spoilers of War

by Nikki Akraboff and Greg Lohman
Answer: CHROME DOME

This puzzle's spoiler-rich Battlestar Galactica quotes are from a mix of humans and Cylons, though predictably it is a challenge to tell which is which. The Cylons quoted here have model numbers, from Number One to Number Twelve. For each datafile, "exterminate" the humans, and then take the model numbers of the infiltrating Cylons and add them together. Then convert those numbers to letters (1=A, 2=B, etc.). To construct the final clue, those letters can be assigned to the numbers after the quotes of the Cylons. This will spell TATTOOED PILOT’S PROPOSED CALLSIGN FOR SHARON AGATHON. On the episode "Torn" (episode number 3-06), the Tattooed Pilot has a suggestion for the callsign of Sharon "Athena" Agathon, a.k.a. Number Eight: CHROME DOME.
