UN-Speakable
You enter the office of Panglossia Pandemonia, Hell's ambassador to the United Nations. "Ah, my new intern. Good to see you." She removes two pieces of paper from a folder on her desk. "If you're going to efficiently wreak havoc in the world of government, you'll need to be able to wreak havoc on the governments of the world. Which means being able to speak their languages. So before I accept you as an intern, you'll need to take this little test. It's a crossword, but the answers are in multiple languages. You have to figure out which languages, but answers to clues that are the same color are all in the same language. Some entries are unclued; those are all in the same language as each other, and you'll see what to do with those. I hope you have a good ear."
You look around for a place to work. She waves you to a cushy-looking seat. Noting your admiring look, she says, "Isn't it plush? I just had my office refurbished." Her secretary enters and hands her a cup of cocoa. "Thanks, Lulu, you're a doll." Panglossia whispers, "She could barely speak English when she started, but she's learned a lot." You're about to ask for your own cup of coffee, but Panglossia stops you. "I doubt you're familiar with her language, tiger."
