"Not only can't I remember all the words to a song, I can't even remember the tune. At least if the lyrics I knew were where they sing the name of the song, I'd have a chance of looking it up; as it stands, I only have part of a totally different song stuck in my head."
"I'll help you out. I'll hum a bunch of other songs by the same artist or group, specifically where the lyrics match the name of the song. If you can identify the song and pick out the two designated letters from each, it'll spell almost all of the words you're trying to remember. The word that starts the line, though, you'll have to look it up."
"Are you kidding? It'd be faster for me to look it up on my own! And I bet that some of those lyrics of yours don't even really match the song title exactly anyway. Like, one lyric will be singular where the title is plural, or you'll be missing an 'and' or something."
"Hey, those things only happen once each, and most people who sing along don't even notice. Look, you want my help or not?"
