Author: Roger Barkan

Solving the word divisions gives the following alphabet:

B,V=9
S,G,T=8
W,K=7
I,Q,Y=6
U,L,X=5
P,E,D=4
A,N,O=3
C,R,J=2
H,M=1
F,Z=0

Summing the divisors as indicated gives 233980466. The solver must note
that every pair of divisors can be followed by a letter to form the
homophone of a word or phrase:
THEMINDS + I = THE MINDS EYE
EAGLE + I = EAGLE EYE
DUTCH + S = DUCHESS
AIR + S = HEIRESS
SPELLING + B = SPELLING BEE
QUILTING + B = QUILTING BEE
COLLEGE + N = COLLAGEN
DORM + N = DOORMEN

These spell out ISBN. Taking the 9-digit number, adding a leading 0
because ISBN's must be 10-digit, reveals the ISBN number of the book DOWN
TO EARTH.
