3.5: Facial Expression (Solution)

Back to hunt | Back to puzzle set
Author: Roger Barkan

This is a simple photo rebus. When a person's left side is shown you
use their first name, when their right side is shown you use their
last name, and when their whole face is shown you use their full name.
Names that are addended are to be appended onto the end of the string,
names that are deleted are removed from the string in order, although
not consecutively (e.g. OJSONTHN - JOHN = OSNT). The "math" is MORSE
+ BANNISTER + DILLON - ORBISON + COOPER - SANDLER - ENRICO +
CLARENCETHOMAS - TOPO + MAPLES - MELLENCAMP - ARETHA + WILLIS + EASTER
- MILES - CSLEWIS - SLATER = nothing because all the letters cancel
out. This is the puzzle with the blank answer.
